Louisa & Michael

Canadian boy meets American girl. That's the beginning of Louisa & Michael's love story.

Louisa and Michael are two of the most sincere and genuine people I have ever met. I feel like I have known them for years and I get sad to think this season with them is closing.

They currently reside in New York City but their love story began in Pittsburgh, which is where to chose to say "I do" and start their new beginning as husband and wife.

Their smiles and inner joy can light up a room.... trust me, I watched it happen. The love their family and friends have for them is admirable. And their shared love for one another is pure and sincere. It was an honor to witness and document their promise of marriage and their entire day celebrating the two of them.

I wish you nothing but love, joy and happiness (and wine and cheese) for all of the years to come, you two! I know our paths will cross again in the future (& maybe even in the big apple)!<3

Jordan & George, Engaged

Jordan and George welcomed me to Jordan's Grandparents house for their engagement session. Since the day I met Jordan, I knew her attention to detail was a gift. Her love of details is both ornate and admiring, her love of fashion included. Wait until you see her dress at the end of this gallery... and SPOILER ALERT, it has a flamingo on it! She also has her own blog, Polka Dot Planes, full of more incredible outfit inspiration!

We started their session with a picnic on the crisp lawn. Sharing berries and cherries and playing a game of cards. It was incredible to watch the more comfortable they got with me, the more their pure love poured out of their souls.

Jordan's grandpa let us borrow his Jaguar kit car, and we pretended we were off on a fun adventure. When I look back at this session, I feel like we were in Charleston, which is actually where Jordan went to college so it's no surprise that southern charm stuck with us here in Pittsburgh!

To close out the session, Jordan and George dressed to impress and celebrated with Rose' to end an incredible evening. (And they even had one for me)!

I'm so excited for their wedding this August. Thank you Jordan and George, for inviting me to share and capture this sweetest season for the two of you!<3

Heidi & Tom Engaged

Heidi & Tom are undeniably made for one another. Tom proposed at Mellon Park over the winter and had everything planned out, from the sparkly stunner, to including their pups, and inviting their families to celebrate after at Vallozzi's in Downtown Pittsburgh. Their proposal was later featured on Burgh Brides Instagram!

We may have sat in the car for an hour and half waiting for rain to pass for their engagement session, but the sun came through and made for a beautiful evening at Washington's Landing.

Heidi and Tom are really good at making each other laugh by making fun of one another which built a deep intimacy for those romantic, quiet moments.

Being around both of them is joyous and I'm so excited to do it all again in April for their Carnegie Music Hall Wedding!

Caroline & Paul's Spring Engagement Session

Caroline and Paul are high school sweethearts. Their love is soft, romantic and playful. Two people who already know each other so well, who've watch each other grow through many stages of life, and choose to grow old together, as one, is one of the most admirable characteristics.

Not only did they recently embark on the adventure of wedding planning, but they also are embarking on a whole new adventure which can be found at the very bottom of this post so keep on scrolling!

Shooting your engagement session was a treat, you two, and I'm so excited to do it all again with you next May on your wedding day!

Caroline and Paul are also renovating this entire house to make their home! Congratulations, you two!
